I love photographing kids being so full of life! There’s nothing like their exuberance and zeal! While in New Jersey for my brother-in-law’s wedding, I photographed my little niece playing. All the kids love to be pushed, climb up a [...] June 25, 2009 I got to watch Jared and Rosemary get sealed for time and eternity in the Washington, DC Temple for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. This wedding has been a long time coming and I’m so glad that we [...] Recently I got to shoot some really fun engagement photos and had a total ball with my friend and his future wife. Along for the ride was one of the cutest boys in my town. Since it had been a while for he and his mother to have an opportunity to get family photos and [...] Nothing keeps you young like hanging out with teenagers. They are always filled with so much life and laughter. They aren’t afraid of being goofy or strange and still have the liberty of truly enjoying life. Somewhere along my life journey the last few years I became the “go to girl” for photographs at my church. [...] I went to visit my good friend because she’s miserable on bed rest with her pregnancy. Remembering that vividly, even after all these years, I figured she could use some company as well as distraction for her little boy. We piled in the car and away we went. Now, you should know me well enough by [...] I never really debuted the Spring photos of my kids. Not officially, at any rate. What I love about my kids is they have come to know – Mom just takes photos. Of everything. Anytime I see something new, I make the kids let me try it out. Seeing as though they put me through a [...] So I’m sitting in Nationals Stadium on Opening Day with some friends and my cell phone rings. I see from the glorious caller ID that it is a friend of mine we occasionally have over to play games and BBQ with. “Hello?” I answer, plugging my ear and hoping to hear over the stadium noise. Over the last twelve months my life has changed in a myriad of ways and I feel like sometimes I’m just along for the ride!
