I went to meet with a client getting married next Spring today. They are fantastic and watching them interact on an informal level was a real treat. I’ve already started coming up with some ideas that to me will hopefully speak of their coolness. It’s what I like to do… I want [...] In May I took a personal trip with the kids to the Baltimore Inner Harbour. We totally hijacked the husband’s business trip and did a ton of walking and sight seeing. Talk about a load of fun! Well, on our little adventure to walk from the Harbour (basically from beside the Orioles ballpark) to Fort McHenry [...] So I was minding my own business talking to the librarian at Church about taking some pictures of the 16/17 year old boys. My Bishop walked up and asked if I had my camera. Silly question! What’s my slogan, everyone? DINGDINGDING! Have Camera, Will Travel! Turns out this wonderful young man, Josh, wanted [...] Sorry I’ve been a little MIA this week. I’ve had this HUGE photo project at my church. Three super duper long 12+ hour days and 1400 odd pictures later, here I am to fill you in and share some photos for your viewing pleasure. I hope you didn’t miss me too bad! My [...] My friend’s been having a bad week and we’d talked about taking some family photos. Her life is in the middle of a major upheaval and some fresh pictures would be good to help her on her fresh start. We are lucky enough to live in an area with many wonderful locations for [...] My husband has a project in San Jose that he flies to frequently. Sunday afternoon he needed to go to National so we hopped in the car for a nice little DC drive. I hate going to DC on the afternnon of a weekend because traffic is just so questionable. As luck would [...] You wanna know blown away? It’s having a friend call you on the phone and say her daughter likes your photos and then ask you to fly across the country. I always liked Meg before her wedding. She was a fun, creative, intelligent woman with a crazy, wacky side I could totally relate to. The day before a local church in Mesa got the fairy godmother treatment by a flock of friends. A normal church became a fairy tale wonderland. And yeah, I’m totally jealous. I don’t even know how long I’ve known, Nedra (or her daughter through the association), but I feel like we are absolutely family.
